CLOYD ROBINSON’S CAUSE OF DEATH – Mel Turqueza’s sibling Josephine revealed the cause of death of the 71-year-old actor-director.

One of the celebrities in the Philippine entertainment industry who are both into acting and filmmaking is Cloyd Robinson. The actor-director produced a lot of great movies and was also a part of several hit projects.

Cloyd is most famous for his Darna at Ding movie which he filmed in 1980. Most of his recent projects are acting stuff like playing roles in Lapu-Lapu in 2002; I’ve Fallen For You in 2007; and My Illegal Wife in 2014.

The aforementioned projects were just some of the hit projects that Cloyd Robinson was a part of. Undeniably, he is loved by a lot of people in the showbiz industry.

Recently, a sad report about Cloyd Robinson crossed the surface. In a text message to Pep, Josephine “Pen” Turqueza who is the sister of Mel Turqueza, one of the actor-director’s talents, confirmed that he passed away at age 71.

Director Cloyd Robinson’s cause of death was a heart attack. According to Pen, he suffered from it at around 9:00 o’clock in the evening at his house in Silang Cavite. Based on the report, after ten minutes, the actor-filmmaker died.

He was rushed to Carsigma Hospital in GMA, Cavite but he was pronounced dead on arrival. A vein in his brain burst.

Cloyd’s camp wanted to hold a wake for the filmmaker but the plan did not get the green signal from the health center. Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, mass gatherings are prohibited.

Instead, the actor-filmmaker’s remains are set for cremation today, September 3. Pen expressed gratitude to Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado for taking charge of the expenses in the cremation.
