Jose Sarasola Talks About Maria Ozawa's Past, Is She "The One" for Him?

JOSE SARASOLA – GMA actor and chef Jose Sarasola speaks about how Maria Ozawa’s controversial past doesn’t affect their relationship.

To recall, it was last 2017 when actor and chef Jose Sarasola and iconic film actress Maria Ozawa went out to public as a couple. It shocked a lot but not to her supporters in Japan as they were seen together in various special occasions then and she’s been vocal about finding someone once she gets here in Philippines.

Amid the pandemic, Ozawa went back to Japan to run her business while Sarasola stayed here. And being in a long distance relationship is hard as per the both of them but they knew that it’s the best for now. They have been together over three years now.

And with the past of the Japanese star as an actress of controversial films, Sarasola could just shrug off all the undying criticisms and doubts about their relationship. For him, Ozawa’s past has never been an issue as he could clearly understand it while thinking that there are other people who has done the worst.

“Ito naman, it’s just work. There are worst things in life na ginagawa ng mga tao compared dun sa past niya. Yun nga, as I said, hindi issue yung past sa akin as long as tanggap siya ng family ko, ng friends ko,” he said. Sarasola even described her as very humble and friendly and that’s what matters to him.

Meanwhile, according to PEP’s report, when asked if Ozawa’s the one, Sarasola said that they have not yet reached that mindset where they would consider marrying each other. For now, they’re just enjoying each other and traveling together.
