Suspects Behind Killing Of NCMH Chief Identified By QCPD
KILLING OF NCMH CHIEF – The Quezon City Police District recently identified the suspects behind the killing of NCMH Chief health director Roland Cortez.
According to ABS-CBN News, Roland Cortez, a former National Center for Mental Health director and his driver was killed.
In a diagram showed by the QCPD, 8 people were identified wherein one of them was arrested while the other seven were currently being chased.
The suspects were found by reports from witnesses and the QCPD discovered physical evidence, according to the district’s director Brig. Gen. Ronnie Montejo. The suspects will be filed for a double murder case.
Montejo reported that the motive of the crime is work-related since the victim knew of the anomalies in NCMH. The police conducted an investigation on people involved in the crime.
Based on the report, Cortez and his driver were killed within their vehicle in Quezon City.
Before he was killed, Cortez received a death threat after he conducted an investigation on a corruption case in NCMH.
