15,000 Stalks Of ‘Drug Plants’ Burned In Danao City, Cebu, Netizens Claim It’s ‘Hemp’
DANAO CITY – About 15,000 stalks of fully grown drugs were burned by authorities in Danao City, Cebu province.

The burning occurred on Sunday at Barangay Langosig in the aforementioned city in Cebu province.

The post gained 6 retweets and comments and 16 likes. Netizens said that the force mistaken the plants for drugs and they were identified by netizens as hemp. Here are some of the comments:

Meanwhile, a 60-year-old woman and a nurse were arrested in separate drug busts in the provinces of Batangas and Laguna.

Retrieved from the suspect in Balayan, Batangas were about 20 sachets of illegal drugs other than the one the suspect sold to a poseur buyer.
In Sta. Rosa, Laguna, the other suspect was arrested he was caught selling drugs in a buy-bust operation.
