Recently, the celebrity doctor used TikTok to spread awareness about beauty practices. She approved beauty routines as well as busted beauty myths on her video.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: “Busting the most common beauty myths I’ve heard Which ones did you used to believe?”

Among the topics, Vicki Belo tapped included if botox can treat underarm sweating if using a moisturizer is recommended in a humid country, if putting moisturizers on the neck helps prevent wrinkles, and if chocolates cause acne.
Belo also gave her thumbs up and thumbs down to topics like using tawas or kalamansi for whitening armpits, wearing sunblock even at home, and use of AHA in removing dead skin and exfoliating.
