CCTV Footage Shows Magnitude 6.5 Quake Shaking Store in Northern Samar

EARTHQUAKE ALERT – Here is the CCTV footage of the actual scene inside of a store in Northern Samar during the devastation of a magnitude 6.5 earthquake.

On Tuesday (August 18, 2020), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported that a magnitude 3.4 earthquake hits Cagayan while a magnitude 6.5 tremor hits Masbate. The series of earthquakes become a trending topic on Twitter.

The consecutive earthquake causes fear and panic to the quake-affected residents. Four volcanoes including Mount Mayon, Bulusan, Taal, and Kanlaon also show signs of unrest and irregularities.

A Facebook user named Renz Yanni Ramos Amande has shared the CCTV footage showing how the magnitude 6.5 earthquake shook a certain establishment. The video is now circulating online and elicits comments from the netizens.

In the video, it can be seen that the quake hits the establish prompting some of the customers to go out as the products start to move. The strong tremor did not cause damage to the store located at Brgy. Salvacion, Bobon, Northern Samar.
