Two Drug Suspects In Albay Arrested On Sunday Night
DRUG SUSPECTS IN ALBAY – Two drug suspects in separate drug busts were arrested in Albay, according to reports from the police.
According to an article from Inquirer, Albay provincial police spokesperson Captain Dexter Panganiban said that they confiscated several sachets of suspected illegal drugs amid the said drug bust operations.
One drug suspect, identified as Andy Melgar, aged 60 of Barangay Bangkilingan was arrested in Tabaco City after he was caught for selling illegal drugs to an undercover police officer in Barangay Matagbac at around 6:45 PM.
Melgar was tagged as a high value target (HVT) illegal drug pusher.
Based on the report, in the municipality of Sto. Domingo, the cops arrested Melchor Borras, aged 22, and a resident of Bagong San Roque.
Seized from the suspect were two sachets of illegal drugs. The two suspects were placed under police custody and are facing charges for possession and trading of illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, in another report, the Philippine National Police (PNP) ordered the relief of 11 police personnel in San Jose Del Monte over a “fabricated” drug bust there.

PNP spokesman Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac confirmed that Police General Archie Gamboa, PNP chief has ordered the administrative relief and restrictive custody of 11 police personnel of San Jose Del Monte City Police Station.
