Is this post of Gloc 9 intended for the bashers of Michael Pacquiao?
Rapper Gloc 9 shared this post on his Instagram account which appeared to be his views regarding the bashing that Michael Pacquiao received after his performance on Wish Bus.
Music enthusiasts, especially those who are into rap genre can say that Gloc is one of the most-admired rapper in the Philippines. His clarity in delivering meaningful lines set him apart from other artists.
In his IG account, the rapper talked about what music should be. He stressed that “music is for everybody”. “Maaaring mas madali para sa iba dahil mas may resources sila pero hindi ito basehan kung sino ang mas karapat-dapat,” he said.
Gloc 9 also pointed out that the important thing is the determination to push through with that dream. “Lagi nating tatandaan na sa kahit na ano mang inaasintang pangarap, kapag umayaw ka, doon ka lang matatalo. Laban! Tumba! Tayo! Laban ulit!” he said.
“WALANG MAY ARI,” the rapper stressed in the caption of his post.
This came after the bashing that Michael Pacquiao received. The son of Jinkee and Senator Manny Pacquiao was criticized for allegedly having his shortcut to fame because of the popularity of his father.
However, netizens defended the rising rapper and said that he also deserves a spot in the music industry even without considering his last name.
Parokya ni Edgar front man Chito Miranda also commended Michael Pacquiao. “Ayus din yung tugtugan ng anak ni Pacquiao a… nakakabilib. Orig nya ba yun? Kung oo, sobrang astig. Kung hindi, ok lang… ang galing nya pa rin,” the band vocalist said in his social media post.
