Emman Nimedez Dies After Leukemia Battle
EMMAN NIMEDEZ – Youtube sensation Emman Nimedez passed away on Sunday, August 16.
Filipino vlogger Emman Nimedez started making Youtube videos in 2011. He is known for his parody videos. As of this writing, his Youtube channel has 2.18 million subscribers.
Last May 17, he announced that he was diagnosed with myeloid leukemia on his YouTube channel. His news broke the hearts of his fans and his fellow vloggers. Wil Dasovich is one of the vloggers who expressed sadness as well as hope that Nimedez will go through this phase in life. The Filipino-American vlogger is a cancer survivor.
Nimedez was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit last Thursday, August 13. He was reportedly in a critical condition due to blood complications and kidney failure.
In a Facebook post on Friday, August 14, Nimedez’s girlfriend Peachy Bonifacio Santos revealed he lost consciousness at around 10 p.m. She also revealed that her boyfriend’s family has an outstanding balance of around P1.5 million.

On Sunday, August 15, Nimedez lost his battle to cancer. The news was confirmed by Santos in a post on Nimedez’ official FB page.
“Our beloved Emman Nimedez joined our Creator at 1:00am today, August 16, 2020, Sunday. He was with his family during the time of his passing at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Quezon City.”
“Our family is thankful to everyone who offered prayers and showed support.”
“Funeral details will be announced in the next days. We hope everyone will respect the family’s privacy to mourn the passing of Emman. Thank you.”
