TV5 Reportedly Plans To Reach Out to John Lloyd Cruz Over Home Sweetie Home Role
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – Home Sweetie Home which is top-billed by the actor and actress Toni Gonzagais reportedly eyed to be aired in TV5.
Undeniably, a lot of people did expect that ABS-CBN will stop airing this year 2020. It has been on national television for decades already is one of the biggest TV networks in the country.
Two months ago, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) released a Cease and Desist Order against the Kapamilya network. It is due to its expired franchise which was not granted renewal over certain issues.
There are questions on the citizenship of ABS-CBN chairman emeritus Eugenio “Gabby” Lopez III. Also, during the hearings, the taxes that the network paid to the government were questioned.

Last July 10, the members of the House Franchise Committee voted on the franchise bid of ABS-CBN. The Kapamilya network failed to get the approval of the House for a fresh 25-year franchise.
Recently, there are reports that TV5 will air some of ABS-CBN shows and programs. The latter is only airing through social media and other platforms with a limited audience.
Based on a report on Pep, the Kapamilya shows eyed to be aired in TV5 include the Sunday sitcom Home Sweetie Home. It is mainly starred by actor John Lloyd Cruz and actress Toni Gonzaga.
Home Sweetie Home first aired in March 2014. It continue airing even after John Lloyd took an indefinite leave last October 2017. The actor has yet to return to his showbiz career until now.
According to the report, the titles of the ABS-CBN shows and programs that will be aired in TV5 will be changed. Also, not all cast members may be part of the show. John Lloyd Cruz is reportedly one of those eyed to be offered his Home Sweetie Home role again.
