Antonio Banderas Positive For COVID-19 At Age 60

Spanish Actor Antonio Banderas Tests Positive For COVID-19

ANTONIO BANDERAS – Spanish actor Antonio Banderas announced to the public that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

Banderas, known for his iconic roles in movies such as The Mask of Zorro, Shrek, and Once Upon a Time In Mexico said he was: “making plans to begin to give meaning to my 60th year to which I arrive full of enthusiasm“.

However, this news of positivity was mixed with a melancholic dread as he shared that he was positive for the new coronavirus. According to an article from Inquirer, Banderas said:

I would like to add that I am relatively well, just a little more tired than usual and hoping to recover as soon as possible following medical instructions that I hope will allow me to overcome the infection that I and so many people in the world are suffering from

The Spanish actor is just one of the famous celebrities that have contracted COVID-19. Earlier this year, Tom Hanks and her wife both got the coronavirus while they were in Australia.

Thankfully, both Hanks and his wife became survivors of the virus and have since became advocates of health practices. Hanks also called out people who refuse to wear a mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.
