Vico Sotto topped the Twitter trend due to Michael Pacquiao
The Twitter community talked about Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto on Monday due to a tweet of a netizen about rising rapper Michael Pacquiao.
To recall, the son of Senator Manny Pacquiao and Jinkee Pacquiao caught the attention of the online community as well as music fans due to his viral Wishclusive performance on Wish 107.5 Bus.
Netizens lauded Michael for his talent, and some predicted that he would go a long way when it comes to music. However, apparently, there are also those who shared negatives comments and one of those netizens was Twitter user @qarloscuiapo.
In the recent tweet of the said netizen, he shared a video from ABS-CBN entertainment and news reporter Dyan Castillejo. The video showed Michael singing a portion of his song titled Hate. @qarloscuiapo wrote this caption: “your father hates gays, letâs start with that”.
It is known to many that Senator Manny Pacquiao is against samesex marriage and because of this, members of the LGBTQ community criticized him. Apparently, @qarloscuiapo wrote a negative comment to Michael Pacquiao’s post due to the stand of his father regarding this matter.
Due to this, several netizens mentioned Vico Sotto in their tweets as to compare the Pasig Mayor’s situation in connection with his father Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto. Netizens pointed out that Michael is not his father as well as Vico is not Vic who is being accused of abuse.
Here are some of the tweets from netizens who called out to @qarloscuiapo for his tweet against Michael Pacquiao.
