Student Demands Overpriced Phone With High Specs For Distance Learning

STUDENT DEMANDS OVERPRICED PHONE – Students nationwide are gearing up for the upcoming online classes amid the coronavirus pandemic.

However, not every student has the means nor the equipment required for DepEd’s new distance learning system. As such, thousands of parents scrambling to provide their children with the opportunity to do so. But unfortunately, according to a story shared by the Facebook page, Viral Videos, some students have taken advantage of their parents.

In their post, they mentioned a story of a father who was in a cellphone store asking to buy a phone with only P3,000 on hand. Naturally, you could get a decent phone in that price range which meets DepEd’s requirement for online learning.

Sadly, his son that was with him allegedly lied to his father and overshot the requirements needed. Here is the story according to Viral Videos:

(This father went to our shop looking for a cheap phone with 6GB RAM/64GB ROM for his son’s online class. I was shocked because that wasn’t the requirement, but that was what his son told him. His son even lied to his father. This is just pitiful)
