JUST IN: PhilHealth President Ricardo Morales To Attend The Senate Probe
PHILHEALTH PRESIDENT – President of Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) Ricardo Morales is set to attend the Senate probe.
This came from a Tweet from Inquirer, which says that Morales is set to attend the said probe “virtually”.
The Senate investigation is in line with the alleged corruption within the agency. The probe is set to be conducted on August 11.
This came from a statement by Senate President Vincent Sotto III.

It has been previously reported that the PhilHealth Workers for Hope, Integrity, Transparency and Empowerment (PhilHealth-WHITE) earlier called on President Duterte to oust the corrupt executives of the agency, in lieu of the alleged corruption.

The subservient also hoped that the administration will oust the corrupt and absolve the hardworking staff.
It also said that it cannot be a subservient to executives whose integrity is in question. They also wanted to oust Department of Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, who also chairs the agency’s board.
