Is it true that Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja will transfer to DZRH?
Radio hosts Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja of DZMM’s Dos Por Dos are being speculated to transfer to DZRH.
When ABS-CBN was ordered to shut down due to its denied franchise application, TV and radio station affiliated to the media company also had to stop from broadcasting.
That included the popular radio program pf Taberna and Baja on DZMM, the AM radio station of ABS-CBN. However, based on a recent article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, there are speculations that DZRH, under the Manila Broadcasting Company will cater the said radio program.
Reporter Henri Uri shared this Facebook post on August 9 with this caption: “Mga Kapamilya, Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja, welcome mga Cumbachero dito sa bago ninyong tahanan! Come in!!!!!”
The post included an article by Ricky Lo for The Philippine Star. “’Ka Tunying and Gerry Baja are now with dzRH and they will start their program in September,’ though not sure if it will still be called Dos Por Dos,” a portion of the article stated.
However, in the Instagram post of Gerry Baja, he clarified that this matter is not final yet. “Thank you so much @therealrickylo and PhilStar for the article. But nothing is final yet. We’re still negotiating. Ang resulta….. susunod na!!!” he said and also tagged the IG account of his co-host Anthony Taberna.
Based on the article, Dos Por Dos started airing in 2003. Taberna has been working as a radio host on DZMM for 23 years now and eventually, he also ventured into television show while Baja has been in ABS-CBN’s radio station for 25 years.
