PhilStar Mistakenly Posts Photo Of Willie Revillame With Headline “Hello, Earth”
HELLO, EARTH – Netizens just won’t give PhilStar a break after they mistakenly uploaded a photo of Willie Revillame for the wrong headline.
Naturally, PhilStar deleted the post within seconds. However, several netizens had screenshots of one of the funniest headlines of 2020. The headline read: “Hello Earth, Look: A crew from the International Space Station captured this long-exposure photo of the Earth and the starry night sky above its atmospheric glow”.
After the post, Facebook page Kapamilya Outsider was quick to post the receipts they had of the headline with. In their own post, the media page quipped: “Bigyan ng spaceship yan!” -Kuya Earth
Netizens also noted that they had the same screenshots of the headline. Some said that aside from being a host of Wowwin, Kuya Will now became an astronaut.
However, PhilStar quickly corrected their mistake and uploaded the correct photo for the headline for the report about Kuya Will donating P5 million to drivers. Additionally, the TV host also said he would donate P100,000 to the families of the OFWs who died during the Beirut Blast.
