Disney is set to launch Phineas and Ferb The Movie

From an animated series on Disney Channel, fans are getting excited for the Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Candace Against the Universe.

This surreal comedy and musical series was first launched in 2007 as one-episode preview. It officially premiered on February 1, 2008. The story evolves around the adventure of Phineas Flynn and his step brother Ferb Fletcher that usually involves their sister Candace who always tries to reveal their shenanigans their parents Linda Flynn-Fletcher and Lawrence Fletcher.

Another notable character in the series is Perry The Platypus, the pet of the brothers who works as a spy at the OWCA (the Organization Without a Cool Acronym) in order to defeat the evil works of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, a mad scientist.

Disney recently released the trailer of Phineas and Ferb The Movie on social media. In the movie teaser, Candace will have her adventure to outer space and her siblings will try to follow and rescue her. This will stream on Disney+ on August 28.

The film company also announced just recently that the live-action adaption, Mulan will stream on September 4 after its premiere on cinemas was postponed several times. The postponement was due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Apparently, this kind of set up in the movie industry will be implemented for some time because of the health crisis. In the Philippines, the first-ever drive-in cinema has recently opened at SM City Pampanga Amphitheater.

Those in the industry of film making and the cinema business have to cope up with the current situation in order to continue their operations.
