Talitha Sotto, the daughter of Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna sang a Christmas song even before the whole Philippines would hear the voice of OPM icon Jose Mari Chan.

On August 1, the name of the Pinoy singer-songwriter became a trending topic on social media. It is because he is well-known for his Christmas songs. Apparently, Pinoys are so familiar and accustomed to his songs during the holiday season.

Since the “ber months” are coming, Pinoys are already anticipating this season of the year even amid the pandemic.

However, even before everyone would hear Jose Mari Chan’s voice, baby Talitha Sotto already showcased a Christmas carol. Pauleen Luna shared this video of her daughter singing the song Santa Clause is Comin’ to Town.

Baby Tali will be turning three this November and despite her young age, it can be seen that she is at ease being in front of the camera.

The celebrity baby confidently serenaded the Instagram community with her rendition of the said holiday season song. She also managed to put her own touch on the song.

“Sorry, inunahan niya na po si Jose Mari Chan,” Pauleen wrote this in the caption of her post.

Netizens were amazed that when she sang the line “he knows when you are sleeping”, she would say “goodnight” while after the line, “he knows when you’re awake”, she would include “good morning”.

A netizen asked if that was Talitha Sotto’s own adlib and Pauleen said, “oh yes haha”.
