Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Locsin, Jr. gave his reaction to rumors that Korean stars Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo are dating again.

A few days ago, there are rumors circulating that the K-drama stars who dated after working together in the series Worlds Within stating that they are dating once again.

Their past relationship ended in 2011. Song Hye Kyo got married to Song Joong Ki in 2017. They worked together in the hit drama series Descendants of the Sun. However, in 2019 they filed a divorce and it was granted by the court.

A year after that, dating rumors about ex-lovers once again surfaced. However their agencies denied this issue.

“This is not the first time that Chinese media outlets have released random and unfounded news articles. These media outlets often make up things in their own imagination. Song Hye Kyo is currently reviewing offers for various projects. Nothing particular has happened,” the agency of Hye Kyo stated.

Meanwhile, based on the article from GMA Entertainment, the agency of Hyun Bin said, “The dating rumors that have been spreading in China are false.”

Behind the denial of the agencies handling the career of the Korean stars, their fans still expressed excitement to the rumors that they are seeing each other again.

One of the prominent personalities who expressed reaction to this is DFA Sec. Teddy Locsin. One of his recent tweets stated: “But what’s stopping them? We need to know.”

The government official retweeted the news article from GMA about this. Known for his classic sarcasm, a netizen has this comment on the post of Locsin.

“Thanks, my sarcasm detection meter just went off the scale, I expect that from @daxlucas but you caught me off-guard…,” Twitter user @LoutOfOrder said.
