Task Force Disiplina Roaming Bacolod, Charging Social Distancing Violators
TASK FORCE DISIPLINA – Enforcers of social distancing protocols roamed the streets of Bacolod City armed with a measuring tape.
Despite the increased number of local transmissions, Bacolod City remains under a “Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine”. As such, a task force was created to enforce health protocols in the city.
According to a report from TV Patrol Negros, “Task Force Disiplina” began their operations today. Those who are caught without face masks or those not adhering to social distancing measures would be charged P200. Meanwhile, non-Bacolod residents would be charged P300.
As per the report, the Task Force was comprised of a composite team from the City Legal Office, Public Order Safety Office, and Bacolod Traffic Authority Office in coordination with the PNP.
Here is a photo of a task force agent using a measuring tape to see if residents were adhering to social distancing. Meanwhile, netizens point out that the task force should also adhere to the same protocols while making measurements.
