Young Pinoy Artist Impresses Netizens After Creating Artworks Using Ketchup
A young Pinoy artist has created amazing portraits of his favorite celebrities using a non-traditional medium “ketchup”.
The Facebook page “Kapamilya Online World” has shared the amazing artworks created by a 17-year-old artist from Nueva Ecija named Vincent Dwight Paulo. The post goes viral online and earns praise from the online community.
Paulo comes up with using ketchup to create portraits of his favorite artists. The young man also said that the coronavirus pandemic has pushed to be more creative. He said that he could finish one food art for almost three hours.
Vincent has already painted both international and local artists including Taylor Swift, One Direction, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, K-pop girl group Blackpink, and Money Hiests’s cast.
“Gusto ko pong mag-try and mag-explore ng iba’t ibang medium and alam niyo naman po lockdown nagkaka-ubusan ng mga art materials kaya nagtingin tingin po ako sa bahay namin kung ano pwedeng gamitin para gumawa po ng art at dun ko po nakita ‘yung ketchup,” Paulo said.

The young artist also said that there is a lot of materials that can be used to create art. He is also making artworks to inspire others and to prove that art is fluid.
