Man Who Was Not Wearing Face Mask Arrested For Illegal Drugs

NOT WEARING FACE MASK – A man who was not wearing a face mask was arrested by the police after they found out that the man possesses illegal drugs.

According to RMN, the suspect was identified as Jobert Tupas Solomon who has the alias “Berto”, 28 years of age and a resident of Purok 5 Dalampasigan St., Brgy. Lower, Taguig City.

Retrieved from the suspect were 5 sachest of illegal drugs which is worth at around P2,700.

Police reported that it was 11:45 PM when the suspect was walking at MLQ St., Corner Dalampasigan St near the gas station at the Lower Bicutan in Taguig when they apprehend him for not wearing a face mask.

Based on the report, upon inspection by the police, they discovered that he possessed suspected shabu.

The suspect was arrested and will be charged for violating Anti-illegal Drugs Act of 2002.

Earlier this month, a COVID-19 cash aid recipient was arrested in Lucena City. He was identified the police as suspected drug pusher.

The suspect was arrested by anti-drug operatives after he sold a pack of suspected “shabu” to a poseur-buyer in Barangay Ibabang Iyam at around 10:35 AM on Tuesday.

The suspect was  a former drug convict and is still on the police drug watch list.
