Singer Daryl Ong was lambasted by netizens due to his post about conducting rallies amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will be recalled that Daryl also caught the attention of the online community last month when he revealed in his YouTube vlog that an ABS-CBN boss banned him.
Reportedly, it was because of his conversation with fellow singer Bugoy Drilon about the franchise renewal issue of the Kapamilya network. That revelation of the singer received various reactions from netizens and fellow celebrities.
Some commended him for revealing what happened while some accused him of just getting the attention of the public. On Tuesday, the name of Daryl Ong once again reign the Twitter trend. It is due to the post of Facebook Page with the name “Daryl Neilsonn Ong”.

“Mukhang mag E-ECQ nanaman daw?..Ayos, rally pa more guys,” the post stated and was shared on July 27.
A netizen who commented against this post of the singer shared their word war on Twitter. Because of this, several netizens slammed Daryl on the micro-blogging social media platform.
However, there are also those who defended the singer and said that what he said was write. Some pointed out that rallies may become a venue for the spread of the virus.
The “Daryl Neilsonn Ong” FB Page has more than 15 thousand followers and apparently, the singer has been posting regularly but it has no blue verification badge.
On the other hand, the singer’s other FB Page, “Daryl Ong” has more than 950 thousand followers and with blue verification badge.
Meanwhile, Daryl’s issue with ABS-CBN was echoed by the band MYMP who claimed that the network also banned them.
