A concerned netizen shares photos of an overcrowded bus in Metro Manila where passengers are over than the suggested capacity goes viral online.

Due to the threat of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the government agency implemented a set of rules to prevent the spread of the virus in public places. Rules such as residents when going outside should wear a face mask and should observe physical distancing.

Meanwhile, at the ease of community quarantine, public transportation has resumed its operation. However, management should comply with the guidelines given by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.

Recently, a concerned netizen named Ryan Galvez Onic shared some photos captured inside a bus in Metro Manila. According to him, the operator of the bus he rides still allows some passengers to ride even though the bus is already full.

“Ito po ung bus na nasakyan ko nung pauwi po ako . Puno na po ung bus pero nagsasakay pa .. nagrereklamo na mga ibng pasahero kc puno na pero nagsakay pa dn cla,” he said on his post.

In the photos he shared, the bus clearly violates quarantine protocols. The bus does not observe physical distancing, which is strictly implemented by the government and overcrowding, which defying the suggested capacity of passengers for the public buses.

Meanwhile, lots of netizens express their reactions to the Facebook post of Ryan. Netizens air dismay towards the driver of the bus and to the company for neglecting the safety measures amid the public health crisis.
