Michael V. a.k.a. Bitoy reacted to this death hoax
Kapuso comedian Michael V. also called Bitoy in showbiz reacted to this fake news circulating on social media saying that he already passed away.
The Pepito Manaloto actor revealed in his July 20 YouTube vlog that he tested positive for COVID-19. He said that he started experiencing flu-like symptoms on July 14 and that prompted him to self-isolate.
It was devastating for comedian-vlogger not to see his family for a long time. With teary eyes, he said that he is saddened by the fact that a day passes without him hugging his loved ones.
Netizens and fellow celebrities of Bitoy showed love and support for him amid this crisis in his life. However, instead of sympathy, the comedian found this certain post stating that he already died.
Michael V. shared this post on his social media accounts. It was a screenshot of a “news headline” which said, “BREAKING NEWS: Aktor na si Michael V BITOY ay Pumanaw na kanina lamang….”

The comedian said that the netizen who posted this on Facebook is “advance mag-isip”.
“Gusto ko lang imulat ang mga tao sa dangers ng Covid pero ibang danger po ang ipi-prisinta n’yo sa pagkakalat ng mga ganito. Netizens, kayo na po bahala,” he added.
