Angel Locsin: GMA writer to actress' malicious statement, 'Drama & paawa'

GMA writer said this against Angel Locsin

Actress Angel Locsin was criticized by GMA writer Suzette Doctolero due to her alleged “malicious” statement during the rally for ABS-CBN.

Angel is known for being vocal in expressing the causes that she supports. Aside from being outspoken, she is also known as a philanthropist.

She uses her voice to speak for whatever she believes is right. Angel also stood up for her home network against the decision of the House of Representatives to junk the franchise application of ABS-CBN.

Following that decision, Kapamilya executives, employees, and talents gathered together to express their grievances against what happened to the TV giant.

In her speech Angel Locsin slammed her fellow artists who remained silent amid this issue. “Sa lahat ng artistang hindi nagsasalita, ano? May career pa ba kayo? Walana, wala na kayong network… Kahit magpa-cute kayo diyan sa Instagram,” the actress stressed.

Jane said that there are things that one can show support and not just according to one’s own “personal standards and beliefs.”

Suzette Doctolero also reacted to the speech of Angel Locsin. The Kapuso writer pointed out the “malicious” statement of the actress who was also once a Kapuso talent.

In a video clip that Doctolero said, Angel was heard saying “sila ang tumulong sa akin noong walang-wala ang pamilya ko.” The writer from GMA particularly criticized this part of the speech of the actress.

Doctolero called out the attention of Angel due to this as for the former it was just “drama at paawa”.

However, Angel’s fiance Neil Arce defended her from this negative comment from the writer. The latter clarified that she is not criticizing Angel for defending ABS-CBN or its employees but she is particularly calling her out for the said portion of her statement.
