JUST IN: DND Secretary Delfin Lorenzana Tested Negative For COVID-19
DND SECRETARY DELFIN LORENZANA – Department of National Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana recently said that he is tested negative for COVID-19.
According to Manila Bulletin News on Twitter, the Defense secretary made the said announcement that he was tested negative for the disease.
Lorenzana was tested after one of his staff members joined him in two official functions. The said staff member was confirmed positive of COVID-19 and was infected last week.

In a previous report regarding the DND, its Office of Civil Defense’s Deputy Administrator James Purisima was fired by President Rodrigo Duterte on May.

The said report says that there was no elaborate reason why President Duterte decided to fire. Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said that he fired Purisimadue to “loss of trust and confidence”.
