What was the “habilin” of Kim Idol?
Comedian Kim Idol has this “habilin” or a wish for his comedian friends to do before he passed away on July 13.
After the comedian was found unconscious while doing his duty as one of the frontliners in the quarantine facility in Philippine Arena, he remained in that condition for several days.
On Monday morning the sad news came out to the public that Kim passed away at the age of 41. Prior to this, his family has been struggling with the decision to take away or retain his life support.
This news also saddened the world of comedy. Several comedians expressed their grief for losing one of their members like former comedy bar owner Allan K and even Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez shared the last message she received from Kim.
Based on a recent report from Bandera, comedian Tekla felt that Kim appeared to have a premonition of what will happen to him.
Tekla said that for several days, he noticed that Kim shared sentimental posts. That prompted the former to call the latter to check him. However, according to Tekla, Kim was just bursting with laughter during their conversation.
Tekla recalled that Kim was there during the fundraising concert for his baby who had a birth defect called anorectal malformation. “Siya yung nag-encourage sa akin na maging malakas, maging matapang. Hindi siya yung tao na tipong makikitaan mo ng problema,” he said about the late comedian.
On the other hand, on Tuesday night, the fundraising concert that the group of comedian will do is not for Tekla’s baby anymore. This time, it will for the mother of Kim Idol.
“We also want to help the mom kasi talagang binilin niya ‘yan kina Teri (Onor) na huwag n’yong pababayaan ang nanay ko,” Philip Lazaro shared.
