The world of comedy is weeping today as Kim Idol dies
Comedian Kim Idol dies at the age of 41 on the morning of July 13 and his friend and fellow comedian Allan K writes this heartfelt message.
On July 9, Kim was rushed to the hospital after he was found unconscious while doing his duty as one of the frontliners at the Philippine Arena that was turned into a quarantine facility.
Since that day, he was in a coma which is a devastating scenario for his family, especially to her mother. Based on a previous report, Maria Argente, the mother of the comedian whose real name was Michael Argente, had the burden on what to do with his life support. They were made to choose if they will take it or leave Kim that way.
On Monday, Kim Idol dies due to AVM or brain arteriovenous malformation, based on the article from PEP. The comedian finally bid goodbye to his family and friends. Undoubtedly, the world of comedy in the Philippines is also grieving for losing one of its members.
One of the comedian’s who expressed grief was Allan K, the owner of now-closed comedy bars Zirkoh and Clownz. Kim has long been a regular in the said bars, aside from his TV appearances once in a while.
Allan paid tribute to his fellow comedian and his friend as well. He shared a happy photo of Kim riding on a sea vessel with this heartfelt caption:
“You were one of the best talents Klownz and Zirkoh have ever had. One of the funniest on and off stage. You will always be remembered by people whose lives you touched through comedy. Rest in peace, Kim Idol. We will miss you.”
