Arnold Vegafria defends Jinkee Pacquiao from criticisms of Agot Isidro
JINKEE PACQUIAO – Jinkee Pacquiao expensive bikes earned criticisms from Agot Isidro and here’s what Arnold Vegafria has said about this.
In a previous article, senator and boxing champ’s wife Jinkee Pacquiao posted her expensive bikes from Paris-based luxury retailers Hermes and Louis Vuitton. The bikes’ photo was taken at their mansion in General Santos City with the caption that says “His and Hers”.
It was in 2013 that Hermes released their bike collection reportedly costing $11,000 or around Php 545,000.00 peso but since “hers” has a different design, it could probably cost more. Meanwhile, the “his” bike from LV has no price or any data available over the internet. Jinkee furthered in her post, “Ang bike na ito ay gift po sa amin ng aming kumpare na si Hermie Esguerra.”
Now, despite not doing anything wrong, Agot Isidro called out Jinkee in a Twitter post where she stated that posting a photo of their expensive bikes amid the pandemic and for the poor to see is insensitive. Isidro said that people are already aware how wealthy they are, she just pleaded a bit of sensitivity with the hashtag #nuveau.
With this, a friend of Jinkee, Arnold Vegafria, came in and defended her with a post introduction “What’s your issue, Agot?” He went on, that posts of Jinkee is not subjected to be judged by the people. He added, “What she does with her family’s hard-earned money is none of our business.”
As per the post, their status now is something that her husband has worked hard for in the past years by being a boxer and now a legend in the field. He received numerous punches for many years before achieving what they have now. Jinkee also crawled her way up as a “smart and prudent businesswoman with several investments under her good name.”
Vegafria also cited that Agot must probably be unaware over the charity works and help of the Pacquiao family even before the pandemic happened because they are silent about it. They don’t brag.
And with her word “nouveau” which a lot of people has found offending, Vegfria also wrote, “The Pacquiaos have worked hard over the past decades to achieve their current standing in society, and despite their status, they have remained humble, low-key and generous to whoever asks for their help.”
