Megastar Sharon Cuneta took a selfie showcasing her controversial Rolex watch following the bashing that she received.

Sharon shared a photo of a Rolex watch on her Instagram account with an intriguing caption. She said that people who are bad might never own one. However, she has already deleted the said post.

After her deleted post went viral, the singer-actress received a massive amount of bashing on social media. She also criticized for attacking the administration and expressing her support for Vice President Leni Robredo.

Blogger Thinking Pinoy, a known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte slammed the deleted post of Sharon Cuneta. The blogger revealed the similarity between the photo that the Megastar shared and the one that was posted on the Instagram account of Rolex Israel.

Following the backlash, Sharon shared this selfie on her Instagram account highlighting her Rolex watch. “You mean people thought I just grabbed the pic of the wrist wearing the watch? Hahahaha! Que babaw,” she wrote.

She stressed that good people are blessed not just by material things like “Rolexes”. “Unbelievable! But hilarious too!” she added.

The Megastar also shared that in several of her movies in which she plays the role of a wealthy woman, she wore her own watches and pieces of jewelry. Her production designer was the one choosing her accessories for a certain movie.

“I wore my own watches and jewelry as chosen by my Production Designer. Or watch Madrasta na lang if you don’t have gana to watch my other movies.1996 pa yon,” Sharon Cuneta stressed.
