Female Teacher in Cebu Along With Comrade Yields P600k Worth of Illegal Drugs

A young female teacher along with her comrade was nabbed in a buy-bust operation conducted in the city of Lapu-Lapu, Cebu.

Based on the report of Inews, a 22-year-old female named Lea Mae Sinugbojan Dajao, resident of Sitio Saac 1 Barangay Buaya of the aforementioned city was arrested during the buy-bust operation conducted by the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LCPO).

Major Narciso Abapo reported that Dajao was arrested by deputies at LCPO Police Station 2 (Mactan) along with a man identified as Elymar Matidios Ravi, 28, who also resides in Barangay Buaya.

The buy-bust operation against the two took place in Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Bankal at 5:00 am on the morning of July 8. Based on the report, LCPO Director Col. Clarito Baja revealed that Dajao who was on the drug watch list was teaching at a private school.

They closely monitored the teacher’s involvement in illegal activities as they belonged to a group. The authorities confiscated more than 100 grams of illegal drugs called ‘shabu’ that worth P688,100.00.

Police found twelve-packs heat-sealed transparent plastic believed to be shabu including the subject of sale. twenty-four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets believed to be shabu possession from Elymar Ravi.

Twenty- four pieces of Php 1000 peso bodle money including one genuine of One thousand 1000-peso bill. One pouch used as a container.

Police revealed that the 22-year-old Dajao is a well-known graduate from a well-known university in Cebu City. Meanwhile, the two will face charges with the Violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
