Retired Navy Officer Rex Robles Dies At 75 Years Old

RETIRED NAVY OFFICER – The wife of retired Navy Commodore Rex Robles confirmed that he died at 75.

A lot of personalities have spent most of their lives in the public arena. These do not only include politicians but as well as those who are members of the military and everyone who is in the government to serve the people.

One of those who were in the field for decades is Rex Robles, an officer of the Philippines Navy. The said body is a branch of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) that is specifically a naval warfare service branch.

Robles is one of those behind a coup plot against the late former President Corazon “Cory Aquino”. She was the president of the Republic of the Philippines from February 25, 1986 to June 30, 1992.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, following the plotted coup against former Pres. Aquino, Robles apologized to her. Aside from it, the former Navy officer was also part of the Feliciano Commission.

The said Commission was tasked to probe the 2003 Oakwood Mutiny. The said group was composed of 321 armed soldiers who tagged themselves as the new katipuneros.

Based on the report, in 2018, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte appointed former Navy officer Rex Robles to be part of a panel to review the 1987 Philippine Constitution. Also, the said panel was in-charged to make revisions for a federal constitution.

Recently, a sad news about Rex Robles crossed the surface. His wife, Marilyn, confirmed that the retired Navy officer died at the age of 75 years old.

According to Marilyn, her husband died of cardiac arrest. It was on Sunday when the retired Navy officer died.
