RAMON REVILLA SR – Here is the itinerary of the last rites for the late former Senator today, July 2, 2020.
Last June 26, one of the most prominent personalities in showbiz and politics passed away – the late former Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. who died at the age of 93 years old.
The death of the former Senator was confirmed by his son, Sen. Bong Revilla. The lawmaker took to the social media a Facebook live showing the scene when his father passed away. The late actor-politician was surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Also called as Don Ramon, the actor-politician is known as “Hari ng Agimat” in the showbiz industry. In politics, he served for two (2) terms as a senator from 1992 to 2004.
The death of Don Ramon left countless hearts saddened most especially those of his family. Meanwhile, they are vocal of taking comfort and consolation that he is now free from pain and struggles.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic now, the Revilla family has to observe the protocols in the wake of their patriarch. Based on a report on Pep, a necrological service was held for him yesterday but only ten (10) people from his family were allowed to attend it.
For today, the last rites for former Sen. Ramon Revilla Sr. will be conducted before bringing him to his final resting place. According to the report, at 12:00 noon, the Imus Cathedral will be closed in preparation for the requiem mass for him at 2:00 p.m.
At around 2:30 p.m., the remains of former Sen. Ramon Revilla Sr. will be brought to Angelus Garden in Bacoor, Cavite. Military honors and final blessing will be done before he will be laid to his final rest.
