Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista rescued an abandoned dog.
HEART EVANGELISTA – Animal advocate and artist Heart Evangelista rescued an abandoned dog who was left in a miserable situation.
GMA actress, fashion icon, animal welfare advocate, and artist Heart Evangelista is seemingly among those who has it all. Not literally about material things as she surely have it but someone who has the beauty, the brains, and the heart to both people and animals in need.
She is the spokesperson of non-profit animal welfare organization Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS). She rescued a lot coming from abandoned and abused animals. She was also among those who rescued animals left behind when Taal volcano erupted.
And now, after someone messaged her about a dog left by its owners tied up in one corner, she immediately acted and rescued the poor animal he named “Cloud”. Cloud’s tie was too short that he can’t even stand or sit properly. He got no food to eat or water to drink. He was just left there starving.
“I will make sure she goes to school and have the best life,” says Heart about the dog. The school she was referring to the process where the dog should undergo rehabilitation for months just like how it’s done to other rescued animals. She will also undergo fostering before her new “fur parent” can finally get him.
Sarcastically, she also stressed how tight the dog’s leash was tied around his neck which made it more difficult for the poor animal to breath. The actress encouraged people to adopt Cloud. She furthered and assured, “She’ll be ready for you after she goes to school.”
