Yves Flores shared this about Cathy Garcia-Molina
Prominent TV-movie director Cathy Garcia-Molina has helped Yves Flores in his acting from the time he started his showbiz career.
Direk Cathy has become one of the pillars of the entertainment industry. She already did countless hit movies featuring the biggest stars in the Philippine showbiz industry.
She has also helped newbies to find their places in the industry of entertainment and one of them is Yves. The actor started his showbiz journey in the Kapamilya reality show, Pinoy Big Brother.
Based on the article from the Philippine Ultimate Showbiz Hub, Yves shared that Direk Cathy has a huge contribution when it comes to his acting skills.
“Eh, kasi naman kakalabas ko lang noon sa PBB tapos salang agad. Siyempre, sobrang bano pa akong umarte noon, wala pa talaga akong kaalam-alam,” the actor shared.

From his stint in the PBB house in 2012, Yves became part of Star Magic’s roster of talents.
“Nahasa ako kay Direk Cathy. Lahat kasi nung mga hindi kailangan sa acting, yung mga sobra-sobrang acting mo tinanggal niya talaga. Pinagtiyagaan ako no’n, eh. Pinagtiyagaan niya ako talaga,” the A Soldier’s Heart actor added.
Yves Flores also said that Cathy Garcia-Molina has taught him a lot and he keeps in mind every acting pointer that the director shared. According to the actor, the prominent director has equipped him to be a better actor for his future projects with other directors.
When asked why Direk Cathy was so patient with him, Yves said that it is because the director finds him “mabait”. They had the chance to work together on the Kapamilya series Forevermore and Got To Believe.
Yves was supposed to work with Direk Cathy in two projects but the actor already has started doing another project. He also shared that he knows about the “retirement” of the prominent director.
“Pero sana, bago siya mag-retire, kahit isa na lang pelikula, one last, makatrabaho ko ulit siya. Pero kung hindi man, puwede pa naman kaming magkita, pupunta ako sa bahay niya,” Yves said.
