PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 26, 2020.

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ will affect Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas and Mindanao.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur due to moderate to occasionally heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

As always, the bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, northern Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to south direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will have light winds that are moving in the southeast to various directions with slight coastal waters.

The sun has risen at around 5:29 AM and is expected to set at around 6:29 PM.
