PAGASA – Intertropical Convergence Zone To Affect Mindanao This June 22, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 22, 2020.

The latest weather update from the state bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ continues to affect Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, SOCCSKSARGEN and Davao Region.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during times of moderate or heavy rainfall.

The ITCZ, as well as localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila that might occur in the afternoon or evening.

As always, the bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the forecast temperature ranges in certain areas, here are the following:

  • Tuguegarao: 26-35ºC
  • Baguio: 17-24ºC
  • Olongapo: 25-33ºC
  • Lipa: 25-33ºC
  • Tagaytay: 22-30ºC
  • Metro Manila: 25-34ºC
  • Laoag: 25-33ºC
  • Legazpi: 26-32ºC
  • Metro Cebu: 26-32ºC
  • Iloilo/Bacolod: 26-32ºC
  • Tacloban: 26-31ºC
  • Puerto Princesa: 25-32ºC
  • Cagayan de Oro: 24-32ºC
  • Valencia: 19-31ºC
  • Metro Davao: 26-32ºC
  • Zamboanga: 24-33ºC

The bureau did not raise any gale warning. The entire archipelago will face slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at 5:28 AM and will set at 6:28 PM.
