PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this June 19, 2020.

The latest weather update from the state bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ will be affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur due to scattered moderate to occasionally heavy rains.

The ITCZ, as well as localized thunderstorms, will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

As always, the bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur especially during severe thunderstorms

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, the entire Philippines will face light winds that are moving in the southeast to variable direction with slight coastal waters.

The sun has risen at 5:28 AM and is expected to set at 6:27 PM.
