Negrense beauty queen Vickie Rushton revealed what happened after her viral Bb. Pilipinas 2019 question and answer experience.
Last year was the second time of Vickie to join the prestigious national pageant. Because of that, many pageant fans expected her to bring the home the most prestigious crown.
However, she did not expect that she got bashed after the pageant because of her answer to the final question. During the recent episodes of digital talk show Queentuhan, Vickie recalled that moment with hosts Pia Wurtzbach, Carla Lizardo, and Bianca Guidotti.
She said that what she experienced last year is something that she does not want other girls to experience. The Negrense beauty queen also said that when she told people what happened during the Q&A, she was misinterpreted.

“Pero kung kelan na-interview ako na na-misinterpret, parang sabi ko, hala sige tatahimik na lang ako,” she said. Vickie Rushton also stressed that if she will remain silent, others girls might experience what happened to her also.
“Pero parang sabi ko na lang sa sarili ko, kung tatahimik lang ako, paano ‘yung ibang girls na parang as an audience dapat may etiquette na sinusunod. Kasi for ten years nagja-judge din ako. Parang pag naka-witness ako ng ganun, I’ll feel bad for the girls. So ‘yung nangyari last year, nangyari saken. Kaya sabi ko hala masakit siya,” the beauty queen from Negros Occidental said.
She also shared what happened after the pageant when she returned to their hotel room. “Pagbalik ko ng hotel, alam mo ‘yung gusto kong umiyak pero nandu’n ‘yung kapatid ko. Eh lalo siya ‘pag nakikita akong umiiyak hagulgol levels na siya,” she stated. “Hinintay ko muna silang lahat matulog lahat at umiyak ako ng tahimik,” she related.
During the interview with her fellow beauty queens, Vickie Rushton also revealed that last year was not a good pageant year for her. It is because she had no voice when it comes to her looks and how she presents herself in front of everybody.
She said that was the reason why she did not enjoy the pageant as she is supposed to do so. Despite that experience, Vickie is still optimistic because she believes that “mas meaningful ‘yung pagkapanalo mo pagkatapos ng failure.”
