Lightning Incidents In Ilocos Province Left With 2 Dead, 4 Wounded
LIGHTNING INCIDENTS IN ILOCOS REGION – Lightning incidents which occurred in Ilocos region on Monday, which left with 2 fatalities and 4 injured.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, among the fatalities include Fernando Tabin, aged 70 frim Naglaoa-an, Santo Domingo town, Ilocos Sur.
Tabin was with his live-in partner and grandchild when lightning struck their kubo amid the rain at 4 AM afternoon.
Tabin passed away while his live-in partner underwent medical treatment. The child was unharmed, fortunately.
Based on the report, in Solsona, Ilocos Norte, the other fatality, identified as a 17 year old man, was struck by lightning in Barangay Darasdas at 2:30 PM.
His three companions were also struck by lightno=ing but only received injuries in certain parts of their bodies. They are now recovering from their wounds.
