DIY maternity shoot? It’s a piece of cake for Isabel Oli
This is how actress Isabel Oli pulled off her do-it-yourself maternity shoot for her third baby with actor-director John Prats.
One of the things that mothers nowadays go through in having their babies is the maternity shoot. Some would do this before or after the gender reveal party or baby shower.
Based on the previous article, Isabel and John shared the video of their gender reveal on May 30 through their family’s YouTube channel and they are going to have another baby girl. Their first baby is a girl named Feather while the second one is a boy named Freedom.
For their third baby, the couple has this DIY maternity shoot since people are now observing the new normal. The actress shared about this in her recent Instagram post.
Isabel Oli said that this experience will surely be remembered. “Consider this a part of the new norm, but I’m really praying and hoping for change and miracle. Instead of idly waiting for the medicine and vaccine of COVID 19, we have a choice to be creative and productive, right?” she said.
Indeed, this situation brought out the creativity in them. The actress shared that they did the maternity shoot in their garage. She did her own hair and make up while her husband and sister-in-law Naomi Prats were the photographers.

“I’m so used to having my own glam team, stylist, photographer and studio. So imagine how ovewhelmed we were while the doing the shoot, but it was all worth it,” the actress said.
Isabel Oli added that what made their DIY maternity shoot extra special was the fact that she did it with the people close to her heart. She also made a huge shout out to those who helped the decorations.
