Here are the revelations of Rosanna Roces about Anita Linda
Actress Rosanna Roces revealed a few secrets of the late veteran actress Anita Linda who passed away on June 10.
Anita is considered to be the oldest actress in the Philippine entertainment industry. She has worked with stars from different generations in her entire career. That is why the world of show business mourned her death.
Based on the previous report, the cause of death of the 95-year old actress was not revealed to the public. One of the celebrities who expressed deep sadness over the death of the veteran actress is Rosanna Roces.
Talking to Bandera columnist Reggee Bonoan, Rosanna said that she will miss a lot of things about Anita Linda, especially their conversations about life.
“Sa ‘Presa’ kami naging close talaga lahat kami doon umani ng award pero kami lang nagka-Urian (trophy). Halos lahat ng movie ni Adolf (Alix) nandu’n kami,” she shared.

Rosanna recalled an incident when they were doing the said movie. She said that the hair of Anita was dyed to make it black in order for her to look brave.
“Eh inabot ng 4 a.m. ang shoot sabi n’ya talaga sa akin, ‘Rosanna, mag-alburoto ka na tapos mag-walkout ka kasunod mo ako gusto ko na umuwi! Kaya siya iritable kasi kinulayan buhok nya ayaw n’ya kasi ang tigas at makati sa anit,” Rosanna revealed.
She said that incident made her laugh so hard because they can’t easily leave the shooting location as they were in a Correctional. It was a big scene and there was a corpse and Daria Ramirez was already crying.
In the movie ‘Padre de Familia’, Rosanna Roces recalled that Anita Linda was ignoring the assistant director. “Nagbingi-bingihan s’ya. Ganu’n ginagawa n’ya pag ayaw n’ya ang kausap nya,” she said.
Another incident that Rosanna remembered was when they did the movie ‘Isda’. They had to do a scene that they were catching fishes at 3 a.m. and the younger actress was suppressing her laugh as she needed to be serious because it was her scene with the veteran actress.
“Natatawa na ako nang sobra kasi hindi namin mahuli-huli pero dahil s’ya kaeksena ko kailangan kong umayos, ending mas malakas pa tawa n’ya sa akin,” Rosanna shared.
In another scene, Anita Linda recited all the lines of her co-stars who had scene with her when Evelyn Vargas forgot her line. According to the personal assistant of Anita, she gets excited every time she has a project and she will even rehearsed her cry at dawn.
“Ang BFF niya si Tita Perla, s’ya ang inaalala ko ngayon. Tiyak na durog na durog siya ngayon,” Rosanna Roces added, based on the article.
