Vic Sotto Says Eat Bulaga Will Use Giant Face Shield For ‘Bawal Judgmental’ Segment
VIC SOTTO – Actor and tv host Vic Sotto said Eat Bulaga will use a giant face shield for their ‘Bawal Lumabas’ segment.
‘Eat Bulaga’ is the longest-running noontime show in the Philippines. The pioneer hosts of the show are Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, and Joey de Leon. Bossing Vic is undeniably considered as the heart of the said noontime show.
They have provided laughter and entertainment to the Filipinos for four (4) decades now. Aside from that, the show also becomes the stepping stone to lots of people to have a shot in the show business.
Last March, Eat Bulaga announced that they temporarily ban live studio audience following the increasing number of 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the country. In a previous article, the GMA-7 program donated 3D printers to the University of the Philippines (UST) to help in the production of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Since March 16, the Kapuso network air the replay episodes of Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgmental” segment. On Monday, June 8, ‘Dabarkads’ returned to the studio.
Vic Sotto announced that on June 11, they will have a unique safety protocol for their show’s ‘Bawal Judgmental’ segment. He said they will use a giant face shield for the popular segment.
“Ipinapagawa na natin ang pinakamalaking face shield. Ngayon lang kayo makakakita ng ganitong kalaking face shield para tuloy-tuloy ang kuwentuhan sa ‘Bawal Judgmental,’” he said.
Eat Bulaga enforced strict protocols. The hosts and the staff are observing social distancing in the studio. The contestants must submit a health declaration before joining the show and were not allowed to bring any friends or family members.
