DOJ Security Guards Tests Positive For COVID-19 Says Spokesperson
DOJ SECURITY COVID-19 POSITIVE – Two security guards and one maintenance personnel of the Department of Justice (DOJ) tested positive for the new coronavirus.
According to DOJ Spokesman Undersecretary Markk Perete, the three infected workers will have swab tests taken for confirmatory tests. Moreover, the employees were immediately asked to stop reporting for work following the confirmation,
Based on a report from DZMM, if the personnel would found positive, they would be brought to a hospital for the right treatments. Meanwhile, the other workers of DOJ would undergo rapid testing on today and tomorrow.
As per the report, the DOJ personnel would be assisted by the Chinese General Hospital. Currently, there had already been 750 employees of the DOJ that underwent rapid testing.
In the Philippines, the number of coronavirus cases had breached 22,474 cases. Of that number, 1,011 have died due to the virus while 4,673 have recovered.
However, even with the increased number of daily cases, representatives from the DOH say that he was not indicative of a higher spread of the virus.
