PROTESTERS SHOOT COPS WITH LASERS – Protesters used lasers as a non-lethal way to disorient the police during the protests.
Since the protests began, there have been several accounts of uncalled for aggression from the police. Bystanders have been shot with rubber bullets, media arrested and attacked, and much more.
This posed a serious safety issue for protesters who want to engage in a peaceful demonstration against abuse and injustice. So, they thought of using lasers that you would likely see during rave parties and concerts.
The beams of light meant to disorient police so they couldn’t shoot the protesters with rubber bullets or tear gas. Surprisingly, the tactic worked and caused the police to back up from the crowd.
In the video posted on Reddit by “Pow67”, we could see a standoff between protesters and police in armored vehicles. However, the authorities were forced back by the blinding lights.
According to some Reddit Netizens, the incident happened in Santiago, Chile. Around the world, people have also began to protest against police brutality and injustice. Furthermore, some would say the death of Floyd started the biggest movement against injustice of the decade.

No one wants to riot, nearly no one goes out looking for violence in their lives. But in the same vein as a quote many share today, “Riots are the voice of the unheard.”
It’s not that we need to support the violent protest, but understand why it happens and be antagonistic of the institutions that provoke it.
Well, and Trump isn’t helping anything. He could be talking Americans down from the ledge and promoting peace.
Instead, he’s telling the country to either jump off the ledge or he’ll shoot you off.
In past riots usually, the president is trying to get people to calm down. Trump is actively throwing gasoline on the fire in an attempt to burn it out faster.
What we need at a time like this is leadership. Instead, we’ve got the schoolyard bully running things.
