Nadine Lustre and James Reid talked about various topics in this interview
Celebrity ex-couple Nadine Lustre and James Reid had their first joint interview after they confirmed their breakup early this year.
James and Nadine, collectively known as JaDine, are two of the most popular stars in this generation. Individually, they did notable projects in the entertainment industry but their tandem is also successful on TV and and on the big screen.
The ex-couple is also into music and they are both nominated for the upcoming MYX Music Awards 2020. In line with this, the two of them had their first joint online interview on MYXclusive.
Prior to this interview, rumors that they are getting back together started to circulate. It is no wonder that fans still anticipate that they would get back with each other because they are still in good terms with each other until now. Nadine even shared a throwback photo with James during his birthday last month.
In the interview, they shared how they coped with the stay-at-home policy. Apparently, they focused on their creative side amid the quarantine. James revealed that they have been working on Nadine’s new album.
He even shared that they are not 70 percent finished with the said project. This period also helped Nadine to be in her head in writing her songs.
“We’re focusing mainly on empowerment and self-love. It’s Nadine’s experience. She’s one of the strongest women that I know. She’s been through so much, and I’ve seen her grow. The inspiration was all there. It was really just getting the people together to help tell that story,” James shared regarding the upcoming album of Nadine.
The singer-actress added that there are a lot of people telling her that she become their inspiration when it comes to empowerment. For her, the music that she is sharing with other people can be a platform in order to empower other people.
“The album is very personal, because it’s all about what I went through, my experiences,” Nadine Lustre said. James Reid also said that they are focusing on this album 100 percent and they anticipate that this will be their biggest project this year.
Behind the various topics that the couple discussed during the interview, they did not talk about their relationship. However, it was notable that they were wearing matching necklaces during the interview.
