Wowie De Guzman Recalls Working W/ Judy Ann Santos
WOWIE DE GUZMAN – ’90s matinee idol Wowie de Guzman looked back on his early days in showbiz with Judy Ann Santos.
Filipino actor and dancer Jeffrey Camangyan or better known as Wowie de Guzman is one of the top matinee idols from the ‘90s. He was also a member of the famous dance group Universal Motion Dancers (UMD).
Wowie was the first love team of ‘Queen of Teleseryes’ Judy Ann Santos. Their love team became one of the most popular tandem in the mid-’90s.
Wowie de Guzman and Judy Ann Santos have worked on several tv shows and movies together such as “Paano Ang Puso Ko?,” “Mara Clara,” “Kung Alam Mo Lang,” “Esperanza” and “Dito Sa Puso Ko” among others. The actor was Juday’s first-ever boyfriend.
Based on a report from PUSh, Wowie de Guzman is set to star in an upcoming original iWant anthology series Ampalaya Chronicles presents “Labyu Hehe.” He will be working with the rising tandem of Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza. The KarJon tandem reminded him of his early days in the show business. The 43-year-old actor recalled working with Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes during his online media conference on Friday.
“Natatawa nga ako e kasi ganito pala ang itsura namin noong ginagawa namin ang Mara Clara noong nag-shoot kami nila Judy Ann (Santos) Gladys (Reyes) para akong na-warp siguro mga 20 years ago noong nakikita ko sila,” he said.
According to the report, Wowie de Guzman recalled his old memories and how he was handled before while watching the younger actors. He also gave some advice to KarJon tandem.
