This is how Wowie de Guzman is living his life after the death of his wife
Dancer-actor Wowie de Guzman has this kind of life now after the death of his wife Sherryl Ann Reyes in 2014.
That tragedy in the life of Wowie happened a month after his daughter Raff was born. Based on a previous report, Sherryl passed away after taking medicine for her muscle pain.
At that time, Wowie had several TV interviews regarding what happened. Because of this, he was accused of just using the death of his wife to revive his career. However, the dancer-actor denied the allegations against him.
After almost six years, how is Wowie de Guzman now?
“Super, I’m thankful na sobrang daming blessing, especially sa career. Hindi ako masyadong visible sa TV, pero sobra iyong mga trabahong dumadating sa akin bilang isang dancer,” he shared.
Based on the article from PEP, Wowie has been performing and teaching Zumba around the Philippines and abroad. During the interview with the entertainment site, he said that he just came back from Canada.
New opportunities landed on his lap and he is thankful that almost every day he has a project. “Tayong mga Pilipino kasi mahilig sumayaw, so napakalaking tulong iyong grupo kong UMD,” the dancer-actor added. During the 90s, the UMD or the Universal Motion Dancers were among the popular dance groups.
When it comes to being a single father, Wowie de Guzman said that it is not that difficult for him because he has a support group. “Hindi siya masyadong mahirap kasi nandiyan mga in-laws ko. Of course, hindi nila pinapabayaan ang anak ko. Lalo na ngayon na sobrang busy ko, hindi ko magagawa iyong ginagawa ko ngayon kung wala sila… So far, so good. Mahirap siya, but because of them, mas napapadali ang lahat,” he shared.
