Another Black Man Claims That Minneapolis Cop Who Killed George Floyd Shot Him in 2008
Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis cop who killed the African-American George Floyd allegedly shot another black man in 2008.
Over the past few days, George Floyd has been one of the most controversial personalities on social media after Minneapolis officer knelt on his neck during an arrest, which leads to his death.
Chauvin knelt on the handcuffed suspect’s neck while he is crying out that he could not breathe. Floyd also begged the policeman to take its knees from his neck but the cop ignored him.
After a few moments, George slowly grew silent and passed away while the cop is still kneeling on his neck.
Recently, another black man named Ira Latrell Toles revealed the history of Chauvin’s use of force in arresting suspects. Toled finally speak that Chauvin nearly killed him while responding to a domestic violence call in 2008.
The 33-year-old victim revealed that the policeman reportedly barged into his home and beat him up inside the bathroom. ‘The officer that killed that guy might be the one that shot me,’ Toles texted his sister.
Toles believes that Floyd would be still alive if Chauvin has been punished for shooting him in his stomach during a domestic violence call 2008. The incident leaves a permanent hole in his stomach after he fought back during the arrest.
‘I would assume my reaction would be to try to stop him from hitting me. If his first reaction was hitting me in the face that means I can’t see and I’m too disoriented to first locate his gun and then try to take it from him and for what?’ Toles said.
